李瑜敏博士是上海大学悉尼工600全讯白菜网址大全助理教授，德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校经济学博士，北京大学经济学学士和硕士。研究方向为实证产业组织，论文曾发表在《金融研究》，Energy Policy等国内外学术期刊。
 

报告摘要：

China’s movie industry is growing rapidly and it is set to be the world’s largest. There are some restrictions on foreign films imposed by the Chinese government, including investment restrictions, import quota system, censorship and delayed releases etc. Few studies have evaluated the welfare impacts of these trade protectionism policies. We use weekly box office data and other movie characteristics data to estimate a demand model of customers making choice of watching movies. Based on our estimated demand model, we do counterfactual simulations to discuss how the consumer welfare would change when 10 more foreign films are imported, when there is no delay of releases of foreign films.
