报告人简介:
Yoshiteru NAKAMORI received a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Kyoto University in January 1980. He joined the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in April 1998 as a professor at the School of Knowledge Science. Since then, he has been developing knowledge science that incorporates the ideas of systems science. His recent research interest is the development of knowledge construction methodology, integrating systems thinking and knowledge management. From April 2002 to March 2008, he served as the dean of the School of Knowledge Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. From November 2003 to December 2008, he was President of the International Society for Knowledge and Systems Sciences. From April 2008 to March 2010, he was Vice-president of the International Federation of Systems Research. Since April 2010, he has been an academician of the International Academy for Systems and Cybernetic Sciences. Based on the recent original research on knowledge construction methodology, he has lectured on systems thinking and knowledge management at several graduate universities, including the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in China, the Thammasat University in Thailand, and the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He published 22 books, 58 book chapters, 184 peer-reviewed journal papers, and 287 international conference papers
报告摘要:
The purpose of the knowledge system is to synthesize various data, information, and knowledge to derive problem-solving ideas. This lecture considers synthesizing knowledge from three domains to produce new ideas. Those are mathematical model-based scientific-actual knowledge, experience-based cognitive-mental knowledge of experts and analysts, and social-relational knowledge among people. As a knowledge technology for synthesis, this lecture introduces the knowledge construction methodology that enhances people's insight and promotes the emergence of ideas.
This methodology consists of a knowledge construction model, a knowledge construction diagram, and some principles that should be followed when creating ideas. The model supports the exploration or creation of knowledge in the three domains, while diagrams support the synthesis or integration of knowledge in the three domains. This set of principles is called Constructive Evolutionary Objectivism and is explained in Lecture 1. This lecture mainly explains the knowledge construction diagram using an example.
When it comes to promoting ideas, in recent years, storytelling that evokes consumer empathy has been gaining attention in the business world. The knowledge construction diagram supports the creation of promotion stories. This lecture provides steps for creating a promotion story and gives an example of examining knowledge synthesis enablers based on the knowledge construction system model. Finally, lecture participants are encouraged to create promotion stories for their research.
